This dark-colored Champagne is made by skin maceration. It comes from premier cru vineyards, yielding a ripe, structured wine with hints of tannins as well as rich strawberry fruits. Acidity and freshness keep it all in order.
Delicate and subtly textured, with sweet cherry, ripe plum and raspberry fruit notes that are balanced by ending with a light smoky finish. Drink now. 7,000 cases imported.
The NV Brut Cuvee Rose is a fairly anonymous Champagne with a soft, pleasing personality. The wine is best enjoyed sooner rather than later. This is lot # L23PX103248. Disgorged April 2011. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2015.
